Biography

Mir Feroskhan, an Assistant Professor in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, leads the Intelligent Cybernetics Group. He earned his First Class Honors in Aerospace Engineering from NTU and his Ph.D. from the Florida Institute of Technology, USA, followed by postdoctoral research at NTU and École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland.

Prof. Feroskhan's research fundamentally integrates artificial intelligence, robotics, and control systems. His primary research initiative currently focuses on enhancing space situational awareness through the development of onboard, mobile vision-based systems for detecting and tracking space objects. An active member of the IEEE community, he serves on the Robotics and Intelligent Sensing Technical Committee within the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC) Society.
