Biography

Dr. Jaydeep Saha received a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore, in 2021, and continued working as a Research Fellow at NUS till 2024. From Apr, 2024, he is appointed as an Assistant Principal Engineer at ST Engineering Satellite Systems, with the responsibilities of leading a team for payload power conversion, as well as developing next-generation high-density space power conversion systems and associated design optimization.

His primary research and development interests include high-efficiency and high-power-density power electronic converters and their control strategies, power electronics design optimization, etc.

He has published more than 55 peer-reviewed-journal/flagship-conference papers, 2 books and received the Thesis Award by Springer Nature in 2022 for outstanding doctoral research contributions. He has also delivered invited-tutorials at flagship conferences such as IEEE IECON, IEEE ECCE-Asia, IEEE PEDES, IEEE SPEC, etc.
